HealthWorks! is an innovative center that blends museum-like exhibits and hands-on stations with health education to encourage active lifestyles. Interactive games and activities make this a fun spot for families of all ages, birthday parties, field trips as well as corporate and private events.
Over 100 automobiles are featured at this classic museum from the years 1886-2012. The collection includes many rare & celebrity-owned vehicles as well as classic favorites from the 1950's-1970's. It is open seven days a week and several special exhibits and events are scheduled throughout the year.
Located downtown, this museum is noted for its impressive revolving exhibits, exhibitions, work shops, lectures, and other activities and events. The gallery is housed in the historic Peoples Bank and Trust Company building which was built in 1905 and is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.
Elvis Presley, the "King of Rock and Roll," was born on January 8, 1935 in Tupelo. The Elvis Presley Birthplace and Museum is located in the house that Elvis grew up in before moving to Memphis. The site includes the museum a Memorial Chapel and the Elvis Presley Park.
