Located in north-central Mississippi, Holly Springs National Forest features unique wetland communities, pine forests and bottomland hardwoods. The forest is currently the subject of a rehabilitation effort and several non-motorized trails are located within the forest's boundaries. Some of the state's best fishing lakes are also found within Holly Springs National Forest, as well as hunting areas, nature trails, picnic areas and campgrounds.
