Brices Cross Roads National Battlefield is where the Confederates were victorious under the leadership of Major General Nathan Bedford Forrest. Brices Cross Roads is an excellent example of winning the battle, but losing the war. The grounds of the site are open daily year-round, but the visitor and interpretive center is open 9am to 5pm Tuesday through Saturday and from 12:30pm to 5pm on Sunday. The center is closed on Monday.
